#Blogtober2016 Day 2: An old photo of me

October 2, 2016

I don’t really have any old photographs of myself, especially in digital form. My brother kindly put this one on Facebook a few years ago to ‘celebrate’ my birthday. I’ve cropped him out (to protect his privacy, you understand!) so it’s just little old me.

I’m not entirely sure when this was taken, but looking at the size of me it was probably at some time during the mid eighties. I must admit I quite like looking at photos of myself as a baby and toddler, before the unfortunate teenage years which I can’t bear to look at!

I’m looking forward to watching Little M grow up so that I can see if there is any resemblance.

I love that these days we can capture so many moments of our own children from the moment their born. It was a lot harder when I was younger so the photos do seem more precious. It’s been really lovely looking back! #blogtober

Yes! Love digital photos but also like to have the odd album printed too. I had a lovely one made for Little M’s first month, just in time for Father’s Day.

It used to be so much more difficult to have photos before the digital age. I have albums of photos of my older children which look similar to your photo. What a cute little girl you were, I bet your teenage years were not really so bad. #blogtober16

You look so sweet! I love your hair how it goes into the ringlet type curls (I envy that would love to have hair like that)

You are super cute! It’s amazing how times have changed. Now we’re never far away from being recorded digitally!

Its lovely to compare between yourself and the children, I did a large collage for my mum and dad’s ruby wedding anniversary, which is on their wall and all of the children get confused who is who!
