Hotter Belle Boots Review

October 17, 2016

In September I attended a blogger event at Hotter Shoes, Norwich. It was a great evening, and I was lucky enough to take away a pair of Hotter Belle boots to review. Unfortunately, my size weren’t in stock on the night, so I had to order a pair. The boots would be in store the week commencing 10th October. This didn’t bother me in the slightest as we’d been having such fabulous weather, I certainly wasn’t ready to be wearing boots at that stage and it was only a few weeks to wait.

Imagine my surprise when I had a phone call from Hotter on 1st October to tell me that my Belle boots had arrived in store! As luck would have it, I was just getting ready to pop into Norwich for something else, so it couldn’t have been better timing. Excitedly, I scurried down to Hotter Shoes and their lovely refurbished store to collect my boots.

Of course, like most people, I couldn’t wait to start wearing my new boots. I’m not exaggerating when I say I have virtually lived in them since! They are just so comfortable. Every other pair of boots I’ve had, have taken some ‘wearing in’ – use of plasters on the bony part of my ankle, for example, as they would rub until they’d had a chance to soften up (or my ankles had hardened up!).

None of that with the Belle boots! They fit perfectly and are so soft and comfortable inside. And they look great, too! I’ve had lots of comments from friends about how stylish they are. My legs are quite skinny and sometimes boots gape a bit on me, but the standard fitting fits perfectly. There is room for them to stretch over a slightly larger leg than mine, and for those with a fuller figure Hotter do a wide leg, too.

My mum approves too! The first thing she did was turn them over and comment on how robust the tread is on the Hotter Belle boots, compared to my other boots. Not something I’ve really considered, but when I think about it I did used to go slipping and sliding everywhere in the winter in my old boots! I don’t really want to go falling over when holding or pushing Little M, so that’s a big plus, too.

I’ve literally worn them everywhere; with leggings and a dress for a posh Sunday lunch with friends, or with my staple skinny jeans out for a walk in the park. I love my Hotter Belle boots!

Disclosure: I was invited to the Hotter PR event and allowed to choose the Belle boots to review, free of charge. However, all opinions are my own.
