Living Arrows {2018} 12/53

March 19, 2018

Every week I join in with Living Arrows, a blog linky run by Donna at What the Redhead Said. The name Living Arrows comes from a poem by Kahlil Gibran; “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”, and each Monday I share a photo of M and a bit about what we’ve been up to the previous week.

This week’s Living Arrows is going to be brief as I’m still in hospital after the rather eventful birth of B. Here she is. I’m cheating and using the photo I’ve already shared in the post I wrote yesterday, but I have so few photos of her at the moment due to our circumstances and they all just feel too precious and private to share just yet.

M’s photo was taken before all of this happened and we were busy doing fun activities at home before I had to come into hospital – I’m going to have to edit this post when I’m home to include her photo, though, as it seems I’ve managed to delete it off my camera when transferring it to my laptop last week and have only my camera and phone with me in hospital!! So for now you’ll have to trust me when I say it’s a lovely photograph of M having fun with some spaghetti in her tuff spot!

Edit: Here’s the photo!

In fact I’ve just remembered that I made the photos into a video on Wednesday, so for now I’ll share my video here!

So glad your little one is here safely. It’s so hard when things don’t go to plan. Initially you’re just relieved but as time goes on you may think about it all more. If you find you are and you want someone to chat to please get in touch!

Hope you and B are home swiftly xxxx

Thank you. The hospital have been great and have already told me all about their birth reflections service. B seems to have come through it unscathed as far as that aspect is concerned. I’m slightly worried about what my insides are going to be like going forward but she’s worth it xx

What a precious photo of baby and I love the tuff spot idea. Defiantly going to have to recreate that one.
