Every week I join in with Living Arrows, a blog linky run by Donna at What the Redhead Said. The name Living Arrows comes from a poem by Kahlil Gibran; “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”, and each Monday I share a photo of M and a bit about what we’ve been up to the previous week.
Last week the lurgy finally left the Pondering household and we were able to get out and about a bit more. I’m amazed at how much better I feel after this C-section compared to the last. However, I’m still aware that I shouldn’t be exercising or lifting too much, so I’m trying to take things slowly. That means finding places to go that don’t involve too much walking.
On Thursday we decided to take our first visit to Tots Town. Tots Town is a small-world role play playground in a barn just outside Norwich. It has different zones like a shoe shop, cafe, supermarket and beauty salon where children can dress up and play to their heart’s content. M was particularly taken with the ‘laptop’ in the doctor’s surgery!
Thursday was also the day that B turned two weeks old, so I’ve included this snap of her with her timeline card. It feels like two weeks has come around so quickly! I guess that’s because we were in hospital for the first whole week of her life, so we haven’t really been home that long as a four really. It definitely already feels like we’ve always had B in our lives, though!
We kind of let Easter weekend pass us by this year, although we did meet up with family yesterday so that B could meet some of her cousins and her aunt and uncle. I think they were quite taken with her, and who can blame them?!
