Every week I join in with Living Arrows, a blog linky run by Donna at What the Redhead Said. The name Living Arrows comes from a poem by Kahlil Gibran; “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”, and each Monday I share a photo of M, and one of B, and a bit about what we’ve been up to the previous week.
I feel like I could write this every week, but I’m not really sure where last week went! We didn’t do anything spectacular, just got on with the rhythm of the week with M going to preschool every morning.
Unfortunately M came home from preschool with a temperature on Friday afternoon, so we’ve had a quiet weekend. We did pop out to Costa on Saturday afternoon, which is where B’s photograph was taken. She was enjoying her first Babyccino, which made her seem so grown up!
I actually find it really difficult to find photographs of M now, probably because she’s at preschool every day now, and especially because we didn’t do anything particularly exciting this weekend. So this week I’m sharing a photograph of M enjoying another tuff spot activity. This one was a counting activity with a Halloween theme. M is really interested in number at the moment, so I’m trying to encourage her as much as possible.
This week is business as usual; we don’t have any grand plans, although I would like to make it to a pumpkin patch at some point!
Sorry to hear that your little one was under the weather. Look at that amazing messy play tray – it looks awesome!
Thank you, they do love to play in the tuff spot!
So sweet! I hope she’s feeling better now. I feel the same, now my daughter is in school it’s hard to get photos in the week, especially now that it’s getting dark earlier.
Oh yes, the shorter days are definitely a spanner in the photography works! And they’re only going to get shorter now. Roll on Spring!
I hope M is feeling better, there are so many bugs going round at the moment! x #LivingArrows
There certainly are! She’s much better thank you, but I think she’s passed it on to me and B! x
I am very jealous of B’s eyelashes! It looks like she is really enjoying her first babycino! #LivingArrows
She loved it! I think she’ll expect one every time, now!
Oh my gosh that babyccino face is the cutest! I hope she’s feeling better now x
M is much better thank you, but now B and I have caught it! Hopefully the house will be lurgy free, soon! x
This has reminded me that I really need to put our tough tray to good use #livingarrows
We love our tuff spot and the girls are always playing with it, even if it’s empty! They use it as a dance floor!
Aww, I love the babychino pic – I’ve never convince my two to drink them, although Gabe does love a cup of tea! Hope M is feeling better now x
We don’t drink tea or coffee, so M is really keen to share my hot chocolate now! M is much better thank you, but now B (and I!) are under the weather. Hopefully we’ll all be back to full health soon x
