Living Arrows 39/52

September 25, 2017

Just as I was resolving to get my blogging mojo back, the lurgy struck the Pondering Parenthood household and my motivation disappeared faster than you can say, ‘saline nasal spray’ (which, by the way, is a godsend if you have a congested baby/toddler!).

Fortunately, I think we’re coming out the other side of it, although the husband (the only one of us not yet afflicted) came home today complaining of a sore throat. Great. I have told him very firmly that it had better be the same strain of cold that Little M and I have had, or he’s in trouble!

Joking aside, the fact that Little M and I have both been under the weather has meant that this week has been pretty uneventful. Lots of snuggling on the sofa with story books has been the order of the day, most days! I know it sounds lovely, but once you’ve read ‘A Squash and a Squeeze’ for the third time in a row, the experience tends to lose its shine!

As a result of our coldiness, I’ve barely taken any photographs this week, but I managed to get this snap of Little M at the dinner table the other night. She’s in vest as we’ve realised that she eats more when she isn’t wearing a bib, so we’ve resorted to practically stripping her down each mealtime! This past few days, she’s taken to pulling at her ears and moving from side to side at the dinner table. I have no idea why, but it makes us all laugh! Children have such funny little ways, don’t they? I’m really enjoying Little M at this age; she’s so much fun.

Hopefully this week will bring with it some blogging motivation and I’ll have a bit more to say!
