Little M turned six months last week and I am still resisting moving her into her own room! She’s still got plenty of space left in her Snüzpod, so I don’t see the point in moving her unnecessarily (at least that’s what I’m telling myself!). However, she’s growing at a seemingly ever-increasing rate of knots. The time will come soon enough!
At the moment, she sleeps wrapped in her beloved Mama Designs cellular blanket, with another cellular on top. I’m happy with this while she’s right next to me, but I’m a bit nervous about her sleeping in covers that might come loose once she’s in her own room.
In October I went to the baby show and was lucky enough to be invited to The Gro Company’s sneak peak at some of their gorgeous Orla Kiely-designed sleeping bags. The Lullaby Trust were there too. If you haven’t checked out their website yet, you really must. It has a wealth of information on safe baby sleep. The Gro Company have been working alongside the Lullaby Trust for years now to develop sleeping bags that parents can be confident putting their baby to sleep in.
This sounded like just the ticket to me, so I was delighted when The Gro Company provided me with a GroBag for Little M. A gorgeous Orla Kiely Bird GroBag no less. Love!
Unfortunately, Little M is such a dot that despite being six months, she’s not quite big enough to fit into the size 6-12 month GroBag that we have been sent. The Gro Company advise that babies should only wear a GroBag if their head cannot slip through the neck. Little M is so very nearly there, but I’m obviously not going to go against expert advice. Which I’m afraid means no super-cute photos of Little M in her Grobag. Yet. The time will come!
The print is absolutely beautiful though and, like everything the Gro Company produce, the Orla Kiely Birds GroBag feels really well made. I love the little details like the zip covers and two-way zip. I can’t wait until we can start using it!
Disclosure: I was provided with an Orla Kiely Bird GroBag to review, however all opinions are my own.
